I gave the GET rep what I was looking for in a tour and he directed me to this vacation. He also booked some extra days at a hotel so I could stay in the same room before the start of the tour.

Vacation

It was a wonderful vacation. The accommodations were first rate, the coach was extremely comfortable, and the optional excursions were, for the most part, worthwhile.

It was very easy to book and I made monthly payments. We also booked our airline flights through them. If I had any questions, I’d call and get my answers.

The Best of Italy tour was excellent! My husband and I loved Italy. It’s so beautiful and so much history. The itinerary was great and Poulo our travel director was excellent! Every detail was taken care of for us. The trip was everything I thought it would be plus much more. We would highly recommend this travel experience to everyone.

Contrasts of Australia and New Zealand

We have used GET to book tours with their sister companies over 20 times. We have always received stellar service. No complaints with the travel company.

Vacation

We loved the Australia part of the trip. It would definitely rate 5 stars by itself. However, the New Zealand part was not a favorite, considering we have taken numerous tours booked with GET. First of all, New Zealand does not lend itself to a bus tour. We spent many long days on the bus, and our tour director talked non-stop. When he did take a break, he put on a movie or played a game. I felt like I was constantly distracted from enjoying the scenery. A bus cannot get close to the scenery and there isn't time to take scenic hikes. We felt that the part of the trip traveling from Auckland to Rotorua and back was basically a waste of 2 days. We saw a staged for tourists show in Rotorua, but that was about all. If I had this to do over, I would just travel to the south island. In fact, we had first inquired about the Panorama tour which does just that, but it was not a definite departure.

Vacation

We are a group of 4 friends who had never traveled together before. None of us had ever been on an organized tour. We had such a good time on this tour we were talking about planning another Trafalgar tour by the end of this one. The combination of good-spirited, fellow travelers, cultural exposure, outdoor experiences, meeting locals via the optional experiences, and the great tour guide/drivers made this a trip of a lifetime.

Arranging the trip was great. The Trafalgar tour guide to me, was less than to be desired. He kept disappearing at stops and was smoking when he got off bus..... Not to impressed with Andrew.

It was very good. The tour guide and driver were excellent. The choices for the tours were very good as well. We were quite pleased with the overall experience. The administration to set up the tour was also top notch. We were pleased with the help Rob Rainwater provided to help us schedule everything with the tour.

Great trip and guide. One of local guides in Trier let us go to the bathroom and then didn't wait for us. Couldn't understand her. Rest of local guides were excellent especially Peter in Antwerp and the local guide to the rijks museum and Van loon house in Amsterdam. Whole trip was fantastic, I think more than one Choice should have been offered for included dinner in one of the hotels . The only choice was salmon which is fine with me but some people don't like Salmon
